Get Motivated
I am a Criminal Justice major who has dreams of going federal. I need to get fit to make that happen. This is a blog to track my progress towards my goal body. It is also a tool to motivate others. Let's get motivated so we can be healthy and fit.

Weight doesn't matter too much to me. I'm more set on just getting fit, strong, and toned.

It’s all about control

I have come to a realization. I will no longer deny myself the foods that are yummy to indulge in. For awhile I wouldn’t allow myself to have that cookie or share those nachos with my friends while eating out. I’ve learned that is no way to live. Life is about having fun and doing the best you can. What’s the point in life if you don’t allow yourself to indulge in it every once in awhile. It’s all about control. Nachos with friends, you don’t have to be singled out. Instead of eating the whole plate, have 3, 4, or maybe 5 chips. As long as you use portion control, continue to exercise, and you don’t eat junk like that everyday you will be fine. You still need to eat healthy. Maybe indulge on one meal, once or maybe even a week but no more. I promise it won’t keep you from your goal. You can still be a chubby bunny on the inside and have a bangin’ body on the out.

SUPER ANTIOXIDANT GREEN SMOOTHIE

What you need:

1 cup almond milk (or any other kind of milk)

2 big handfuls spinach (I used frozen)

1 banana (I used frozen)

handful of frozen/fresh blueberries (I used frozen)

handful of frozen/fresh raspberries (I used frozen)

Result:

Deliciousness! And healthy as well as satisfying. It was a massive amount- enough to power me through the day. I also had a coffee w/ almond milk and stevia for breakfast. I have until this Saturday until I start college, so this week will be full of healthy eats. I’m also determined to have a salad each day but find ways to make them creative, fun, and yummy! Looks like this week has gotten off on the right foot :) After I finish up my coffee I’m going to go outside to clean my yard, which is full of wreckage from the hurricane :( no worries though, that was the worst damage done to my house!
